nZEM Project
The nZEM (nearly Zero Energy Module) project aims to create prefabricated housing components and systems, with high energy-environmental performance, through the study of a process and product procedural methodology, based on an on-demand production model.
The nZEM project aims at the development of new technological components for buildings, in particular of opaque and transparent casing elements that can be assembled for the creation of a prototype of an energetically independent wooden housing module with high environmental characteristics that responds to the needs of environmental compatibility in terms of materials and energy, allowing a reduction in energy consumption and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
